Parafest 2018

Event Details

  • Date:

Based in North Wales for its stunning coastline, countryside and scenery, Parafest is unique to the UK and combines an aircraft flying event and trade exhibition with a music festival.
Llanbedr Airfield, an ex-military airfield on the edge of Snowdonia National Park, is a beautiful location nestled on the coastline between the two very popular tourist towns of Barmouth and Porthmadog

Professional live acts perform in the festival arena on the main stage all day until midnight Friday and Saturday.
Those that like to party can head over to the ASBO Disco, the Parafest late night area distanced away from the camping fields, where we have DJ sets until the early hours.

Paraglider pilots are within easy driving distance from the many great paragliding sites the area has to offer and paramotor pilots can fly out of Llanbedr Airfield and explore everywhere from the coastline to the mountains and valleys of Snowdonia.

With a faultless tarmac runway of over a mile long pilots of any aircraft type are welcome to fly in to Parafest and enjoy a weekend in Wales at a flying event with a difference.
Manufacturers, dealers and schools for all aircraft types will be exhibiting at Parafest and trial flights are available for anyone to book direct with the suppliers when on site.

Parafest isn’t just for pilots, bring your partner, bring the kids, bring the dog.! Parafest is for the whole family.
Trading alongside the flying stalls we also have plenty of non flying stalls, a kids zone, various food caterers, a licensed bar with real ales and cocktails plus many other sideshows and attractions, too much to list.

Parafest isn’t just a fly-in;
Parafest is a festival you can fly at.
